Get Help
If you're having trouble with PawMesh, here are a few things to check first:
- Bluetooth — Make sure Bluetooth is enabled in Settings and your mesh radio is powered on and not connected to another app (such as the official Meshtastic® app).
- Location — PawMesh needs location access to show your position on the map. Go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services → PawMesh and select "While Using" or "Always."
- Tracker not appearing — Your dog's tracker must be running Meshtastic® firmware with the Position module enabled and broadcasting on the same channel/region as your companion node.
- Stale position — If the fix-age indicator is red, the tracker hasn't reported in over 10 minutes. Try tapping Ping to request an immediate update. The tracker may be out of LoRa range or have lost GPS lock.
